Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly financial reports
- Maintain all department forms, tools, shared drive
- Book travel & prepare expense reports
- Assist with variance research for monthly expenses
- Maintain Casino Marketing expense Budget
- Manage ongoing gift card incentive purchasing system
- Manage and maintain Casino Marketing event lists
- Manage invoicing and coordination of payments associated with golf club memberships
- Manage oversight of Casino Marketing department company credit cards
- Answer, screen & route telephone calls and use appropriate telephone etiquette
- Handle hotel bookings, restaurant bookings, spa and ground transportation bookings for Casino Marketing executive team
- Maintain Activation Calendar and distribution
- Serve as a partner to other departments and assist in training administration, record keeping, etc.
- Serve as a partner to Casino Operations with needs of the Casino Marketing Department
- Must have the ability to incorporate creative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently
- Prepare reports and / or special projects, which may include data collection, coordination, final copy preparation, distribution, etc.
- Become familiar with all department functions in order to communicate on them effectively and accurately
- Develop messages and effectively use proper channels to ensure consistent, integrated and comprehensive system of communications
- Support Marketing team with additional duties and projects as needed
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
- Two years or more of clerical / administrative experience required, college degree preferred
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook required; PowerPoint and Visio strongly preferred
- Ideal background is an individual who has worked within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills to set clear expectations with direct reports
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent work ethic
- Must operate well in a team environment as well as perform job duties with little supervision
ABILITY TO :
- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed
- Have a positive team player attitude, be energetic and driven
- Interact with team members and vendors in a professional manner
- Promote teamwork and a constructive work environment
- Solve problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc) :
- Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations
- Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred
- Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred
- Prior experience opening new properties / outlets preferred
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
