The Villa de Matel Center is the home for theSisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. It is also used as acentral gathering place for the Sisters and their ministries, aretirement center for the Sisters and a retreat center for thepublic.

Summary
The Senior Administrative Assistant directly supports twoof the Council Members and the Vocations Office. The SeniorAdministrative Assistant collaborates with other executive andadministrative support in a manner that assures all areas have theeffective support to carry out the work of the Congregation.
Working independently with minimal or no supervision, this positionprovides for and supports the smooth operation of the office byanticipating the needs of the Council Members and Vocationdepartment the position supports.
The Senior AdministrativeAssistant performs diverse secretarial and administrative support,and assists in the administration of day-to-day activities.
Bynature of the position, the work involves a high degree ofprofessionalism, dealing with internal and external customers andflexibility to respond to the changing priorities.
Exposure tosensitive information necessitates the use of creativity, tact,diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. The work requires the abilityto handle confidential information and the ability to perform avariety of important and confidential tasks.
A. Education / Skills
- High School Diploma required, collegedegree preferred, additional experience or education recommended inlieu of college degree.
- Excellentcommunication skills; fluent in Spanish preferred.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Groundedin the Catholic faith tradition and relates well with young adults.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Required to work some weekends andevenings.
- Experienceworking with cultural diversity, preferably with experience workingwith youth / young adults in parish or university campus.
- Project / time management
- Strongleadership skills.
- Excellent administrativeand organizational skills
- Operative skillsand knowledge of the most recent computer programs.
- Minimum skills in graphic design for making flyers andbooklets.
- Technical knowledge and skills withcomputer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Microsoft Teams), and Zoom.
- Knowledge of social media.
B. Experience
Minimum three (3) years of administrative / secretarial experiencewith management level leadership teams.
