WORKING HOURS : 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm Monday - Friday
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications / engineering drawings.
- Perform required inspections of product in accordance with Quality Procedures.
- Build hatch cover structures using fiberglass, resins, and hard structural materials.
- Use verity of hand tools, including pneumatic tools.
- Interpret work instructions
- Work safely, including wearing appropriate PPE, maintain a clean work area.
- Work within a group and execute duties within a team structure
- Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications / engineering drawings.

- Record applicable inspection / test results.
- Interpret inspection / test results to reflect job function requirements as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to use common hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to interpret and apply standards.
- Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Ability to work in a closed environment, specifically within a cave system
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
- Prior assembly in a manufacturing facility preferred but not required.
- Fiberglass experience preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.

Summary :
As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing security requirements and controls for Wabtec IT on Enterprise projects and systems.
As well as ensuring the security and integrity of Wabtec enterprise environments, you will provide technical security leadership to cross-functional teams for the creation and delivery of secure information technology solutions and shared services.
You will analyze existing application services and infrastructure designs to suggest remediations where necessary to reduce information security risk.
You may also function as a security expert for new projects working closely with teams across the company to ensure that appropriate security requirements and controls are designed for implementation.
This role requires a combination of strong technical and communication skills and will report to the Manager, Security Architecture.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design of enterprise-wide security controls and policies to protect against cyber threats in a hybrid and multi-cloud environment.
- Provide security leadership, review, consultation and deliver hardened baselines for all IT tools, solutions, projects, software etc.
This includes but is not limited to delivering controls and configurations for the following : Cyber Defense ToolsWorkstation and server endpoint managementMicrosoft Office and M365Privileged Identity Management and identity governanceBrowser securityData Loss Prevention solutions
- Provide security leadership through baseline configurations and controls based on security frameworks and best practices
- Provide secure configurations for security tools and software, including endpoint management, browser security and email protection.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security controls are implemented effectively on all Wabtec IT projects.
- Provide secure configurations for identity management tools and software
- Function as a security SME for enterprise ecosystems
- Evaluate risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Review security audits, assessments, and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls
- Provide support and reporting for compliance to security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS
- Developing and implementing enterprise security architectures and solutions that are aligned with business objectives and meet regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation on security policies, standards, and procedures
- Work closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand the business use case and effectively drive security requirements

This position requires management and oversight of public projects on behalf of the Customer throughout the Western region of the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage projects with goal to deliver on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction within bounds of contractual obligations.
- Adhere to customer and industry standards / specifications, while keeping within Xorail / Wabtec’s quality standards
- The successful candidate will have experience with general review of civil plans
- Create various documents for coordination of overall project efforts (i.e. SEC requests, timelines, construction schedules, email correspondence, and budget reports, etc.)
- Represent the company and Customer as project management interface for outside party public projects.
- Assisting in the management of material and labor costs.
- Preparing estimates, earn value and cash flow analysis.
- Assisting with change orders, budget updates, and project creation.
- Responsible for development of written reports / presentations for management and customer reviews.
- Creating documents such as procedures, plans, programs, and protocols.
- Verifying other engineers’ work and documents to ensure they are meeting Xorail’s quality standards and the Customer’s scope requirements.
- Light administrative tasks and project documentation
- On-demand status reporting to Customer, Funding Agencies and Team (as necessary)
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience and understanding of the Railroad Public Projects process and Section 130 as well as grant funded projects
- Experience in Project Management, Engineering / Civil or related field experience
- Experience in railway industry (Signals, Communications, Operations, Engineering, etc.)
- Familiarity / proficiency using MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, MicroStation and / or similar office applications.
- Experience with project planning / management systems / tools, scheduling, budget monitoring, and task execution.
- Excellent communication skills required (verbal and written).
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees / management to promote good workflow
- Ability to effectively interact with external Departments, Funding / Regulatory Agencies, Vendors and Customer / s to foster confidence in the services being provided.
Working Conditions :
- Office environment with some travel to site locations throughout the U.S.
- Must be qualified to access construction sites and work along railways, and access railway tunnels and bridges
- Ability to obtain Road Worker Protection and e-RAILSAFE System Contractor Certification

Summary :
Warehouse Technicians perform warehouse duties including (but not limited to) : receiving, stock picking, packing, shipping and light assembly work.
$21 / hr with $1k sign on bonus after 30 days.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Meet job requirements relative to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Attendance, and team environment
- Packing of small and large parts, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, parts counting, wrapping products, export packing, crating, labeling, shipping and receiving, stockkeeping, cycle-counting, and housekeeping
- Utilize ORACLE and various Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications
- Utilize various PC applications including RF picking
- Read and interpret pick tickets, packing instructions, safety alerts, or other communications as needed
- Read and interpret drawings and instructions for light assembly work
- Operate various types of forklifts, and other equipment as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year prior warehousing experience
- Minimum of 6 months Forklift Driving experience

Welder WMS 3W

Welders will be responsible for performing multiple tasks to support the fabrication of locomotive / mining components. In addition to welding, you will have responsibility for assembling components and other duties as assigned.
Welders are responsible for working together as a team to improve manufacturing processes and promote a climate of cooperation.
Welder duties may include but is not limited to :
- FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes and procedures
- Welding with wire sizes ranging from .035 to 3 / 32 Solid and Flux Cored wire
- Welding in all positions : flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions
- Working with hot rolled plate, sheet, pipe and stainless steel
- Assembly work including but not limited to parts alignment such as seams and joints in fixtures to close fractional dimensions of 1 / 32" or less total tolerance and / or create bench setups.
- Finish by filling, grinding, sanding, straightening, heating, and shrinking components requiring filling, blending and contouring where adjacent surfaces do not provide the finished plane
- Test fabrications and welds for oil or air leaks, and pressure testing. Repairs to be made when failures occur
- Plasma cutting and air arc cutting operations
- The set up and running of simple welding operations
- Prying and setting heavy equipment
Other Duties
- The installation and / or connection of piping and associated plumbing components.
- The use of standard machine tools including, but not limited to drill press, band saw, lathe, spot welder etc., and a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
- Paint applications including, but not limited to dry sanding, masking, unmasking, primer paint and touch up.
- The installation and / or connection of wiring harnesses and associated electronic components.
- Material transport requiring the use of but not limited to radio-controlled cranes, forklifts and tuggers.
- Work with all facility employees on improving manufacturing processes through prototyping, fabrication and experimental machining to develop and prove concepts and design and implement necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing improvements.
- Promote climate of cooperation; leading by example mentoring others in quality, safety, environmental, lean and high-performance work team philosophies.
- Basic assembly work
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of a welding program and have 1 year of welding experience OR 3 years of industrial / construction or similar professional welding experience.
- Starting pay rate is $29.30per hour (up to $31.33 / hour after 1-year progression and $32.35 / hr at 4 years of service) with additional night shift differential of $1 / hr.
- 4-day (Monday through Thursday), 10-hour shift work week. Shift hours are 3 : 15PM - 1 : 45AM (2nd Shift). Must be able to work scheduled shift hours.
- $1,000* sign-on bonus after 60 days of employment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High-school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must be willing to wear PPE such as a respirator, weld jackets, gloves, welder hoods, ear plugs, and proper eye protection
- Must be willing to work in a tobacco-free environment
- Be willing to take a drug test & submit to a background check as part of the selection process
- Be willing to submit to random drug tests

- Must be willing to work as necessary to meet requirements of the position, including the ability to work occasional weekends and scheduled overtime
- Pass a qualification based on AWS D1.1 weld qualifications
- Must be proficient in FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes and procedures
- Must have experience with wire sizes ranging from .035 to 3 / 32 solid and flux cored wire
- Must be able to perform welding in all positions : flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions
- Must be able to read simple to complex blue prints and manufacturing instructions in a sufficient manner to complete the assigned assembly tasks
- Must be able to complete some operations at heights up to 20 ft.
- Must be able to climb and complete some work on ladders
- Must be able to lift material up to 40 lbs.
- Must have ability to properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment
- Must be able to adhere to standards, do a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable time
- Basic Computer Skills
- Every employee will be an in process inspector
Desired Characteristics
- Pass qualifications based on AWS D15.1 weld standards
- Experience welding GTAW & SAW (submerged arcs)
- 3 years of experience of performing CJP welds
- 3 years of experience using 3 / 32 E70T-1C FCAW welding process
- Ability to consistently weld to enhanced Class 1 weld D14.3 standards (allowed discontinuities are reduced by 50% than Code Standards)
- Verifiable evidence that individual has consistently passed UT inspected welds using 3 / 32 E70T-1C FCAW
- Proficient in repairing Steel Castings using GTAW
- Ability for perform and interpret PT using a Wabtec specified quality standards document for Casting Standards
- Ability to repair casting using GTAW process and hand polishing on machined surfaces to a 125 Ra surface finish
