Responsibilities : Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED Ability to identify the problem quickly Effective analytical and communication skills Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Computer Skills Positive, friendly attitude Benefits : 4 Day work week Health insurance at group rate Extended weekends off Dental Life Insurance 401k with match AC Shop Opportunity for growth, typically promote from within Paid training- mentorship
