Job Description WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / LABORER Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm Diversified daily responsibilities including, but not limited to, cleaning of facility and equipment for reuse, stocking equipment and supplies, assembly of packaging materials; general duties to assist warehouse functions. Since 1981 TooJay’s New York-style Deli has been a fan favorite. With several locations across Florida, we are famous for piled-high sandwiches, hearty portions of homemade comfort foods and made-from-scratch soups, salads, and baked goods. The Warehouse Associate will provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while performing all duties, and will perform these duties in such a manner as to create a clean, safe working environment according to Covid 19 regulations and standards for yourself and co-workers. Your day may consist of one or all of the following : Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and any face masks or gloves / if required and as regulated Comply at all times to TooJay’s standards and regulations for safety and adhere to Health department regulations Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times Maintain cleanliness of all cases and work areas Perform all end of shift functions Be familiar with location of fire extinguishers and how to access them Attend meetings as required by management Minimize waste and pilferage Perform any other duties as requested by management Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by co-workers and / or manager Must be able to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures Must be willing to work with cleaning and or sanitizing equipment and solutions Must be willing to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects exerting up to 100 pounds Ability to stand during entire shift
