Responsibilities & Duties :
Troubleshoot and repair all electrical / electronic equipment and control equipment associated with the building- production- and utilities.
Coordinate with production to address any corrective maintenance required on assigned equipment to ensure optimum line efficiency and product quality.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections on all production- building- and utilities equipment as assigned.
Participate in the development of documented preventive maintenance plan.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design.
Troubleshoot and modify programs on existing programmable controllers and write new programs for existing and new programmable computers.
Analyze equipment failures and recommend / implement corrective actions.
Communicate with maintenance personnel on other shifts- as necessary- to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts on assigned equipment.
Work cross functionally as a member of the operations team.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
Qualifications :
Electrical training / degree and experience in manufacturing maintenance.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC’s and components
Knowledge of 240 / 480V systems
Ability to troubleshoot ladder logic and make edits as required
Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
Use simple mathematics
Lift 50 pounds.
Able to climb a ladder.
Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.
Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
High School diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and / or food processing- quality standards- hygiene- work safety- etc. preferred

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking associates to work in our tomato paste- pizza sauce- salsa- peeled pear canned tomatoes- crushed tomatoes- tomato puree- and tomato sauce production area in Escalon- CA.
Ideal candidates must be safety and quality driven. Candidates must be able to work in a team in a fast paced work environment.
This position requires individuals to perform general production duties during warmer climates in a food manufacturing environment during the months of July through October.
Current shifts : Second shift (2PM-10PM)- and third shift (10PM-6AM). Shift determination to be discussed.
Benefits & Compensation Overview :
Sick Pay- available after successful completion of 90 days of employment
Life insurance available after employee has completed 30 days of employment.
Medical benefits available upon completion of 1-560 hours worked
Starting Pay $35.42 / hour

May include- but isn’t limited to :
Full Responsibility Under The Superintendent- Supervisor Or Head Mechanic Or Lead Cannery Mechanic For The Efficiency And Safety Of All Plant Electrical Circuits And Equipment And Also :
Make layout of electrical circuits.
At least 5 years of electrical experience on industrial equipment.
Make up material and parts lists.
Do or direct all maintenance wiring- installation of motors- switches- switch panels- fuse boxes- lighting- testing- and power circuits.
Determine proper size and specifications of wire- conduit- switches- panels- fuses- etc.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams.
Inspect motors- switches- junction boxes- switch panels- circuit breakers- transformers- fuse panels- lighting- heating and power circuits.
Make preventive and running repairs and corrections.
Do or direct installation- connection- adjustment and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments.
Must have license where required or comparable electrical work experience.
Must be able to trouble shoot PLC inputs / outputs - RTD’s- Vacuum / Pressure transducers
Secondary Duties
May supervise other electricians.
May make repairs on ignition and electrical systems of automotive equipment.
May rewind motors.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to work flexible schedule- i.e.- 7 days a week.
5+ years of electrical experience.
