As a bartender on our team, you'll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide positive and memorable experiences . The fast-paced and high-energy environment will challenge you as you play an important role in the guest experience. What We Are Looking For : Contribute to Our Mission, Every Guest Leaves Happy, through teamwork, hospitality, proactive communication, and helping outside your role as needed. Maintain clear communication with the servers, hosts, kitchen staff and management to ensure an efficient and positive working relationship. Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service expectations. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Respond urgently and appropriately to guests' needs. Present in professional appearance and mannerisms. Knowledge of the menu (food and beverage) with the ability to make suggestions. Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems. Concludes experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return. Keep designated service stations clean and organized. Restock and replenish bar inventory. ID customers to confirm legal drinking age. Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies. Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift. Requirements : Minimum 1+ years' bartending experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine). Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer. A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team. Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time. Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.). We are privileged to partner with local coffee roasting company, Café Moto, who only produces Certified Organic, Kosher, & Fair-Trade coffees including our very own Portside and Brigantine coffee blends.
