Our work environment includes : Modern office setting Food provided Our organization is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as a passion for helping patients reach their goals. The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatments, assisting with patient assessments, and creating individualized treatment plans. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing the best care possible. Responsibilities : Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment. Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist. Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises. Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain. Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients. Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area. Schedule patients, obtain prior authorizations as needed Do some administrative duties Clean, stock and order supplies as needed Document treatments notes and procedures Any other duties assigned by manager or PT Job Type : Part-time Benefits : Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Medical specialties : Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Schedule : 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute / relocate : Tampa, FL 33617 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License / Certification : CPR Certification (Preferred) Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
