STS Line Maintenance is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Planners in Orlando, Florida . Hiring Note : All candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States. Position Overview : This position is vitally important to the Line Maintenance team whereas the employee will be responsible for setting the team up for success by pre-planning the aircraft work requirements. This individual will work closely with various customer based employee groups to identify scheduled work, mitigate potential of overscheduling, and ensuring all applicable parts / tooling / materials will be available. Qualifications : Airbus A320 technical proficiency is required A&P license preferred Must have critical thinking and organizational skills. Must be proficient with the MS suite. Word & Excel. Must pass a criminal background check. Must have and hold a valid driver’s license. No MVR issues in past 3 years. Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills. Overview : The Ride on Mechanic travels with an aircraft and is responsible for providing total line maintenance and technical support for the aircraft to which they are assigned while reporting to Maintenance Control. Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Conduct Terminating Service maintenance checks on B727 and Service checks on B737 aircraft Maintain contact with Maintenance Control regarding the aircraft condition Accomplish all required servicing of the aircraft Troubleshoot and repair defects and complete all return to service paperwork as well as signing for work accomplished and Airworthiness Releases Forward copies of repair information to Maintenance Control as work is completed. Send original paperwork to Aircraft Records on a daily basis Maintain current inventory of flyaway kits, including serviceable parts, unserviceable parts, shelf life items and tools.
