Create technical source to target mappings between systems, which includes mapping the names of databases / schemas / tables / physical data elements of each system as well as the transformation logic between them. Perform gap analysis on technical lineage diagrams / mapping documents. Perform QA testing and UAT on developed lineages to obtain necessary approvals. Ensure lineage diagrams developed match the technical mapping documents collected during requirements gathering. Ability to read and understand SQL ideal (coding not required). Position Details : Job Title : Data Consultant Location : NY / NJ (onsite 3 days per week) Duration : 6 months contract possible contract to hire Job Description : Contributes to the effectiveness of security-related operations. Provides programming support and assists in project planning for an operational area in information security. Assists in daily oversight of a security sub-component. Initiates projects intended to improve operations, client satisfaction with operational support, and development of appropriate standards and procedures for assigned operational area. Participates in evaluation, testing and implementation of emerging control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards, and techniques applicable to assigned operations area. Presents proposed security enhancements to management for approval, funding and implementation.
