Description :
Sales Coordinator , you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing the quote process to ensure timely and accurate processing of quotes. This includes the following :
Prepare customer quotations by compiling engineering process, raw material pricing, outside services pricing, and internal labor costs, for final approval.
Work with purchasing team to obtain pricing from outside vendors
Work with engineering and manufacturing to answer questions relative to quoting projects
Responsibilities :
Processing quotations and assisting with sales-related tasks, facilitate quote process
Prepare quotations, terms of sales, delivery lead times, etc., and prepare quote subject to the approval of the Sales Manager.
Answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries
Serve as liaison between the customer and various departments.
Responding to emails and maintaining effective communication with clients
Work with sales team to ensure tasks from meetings are executed and communicated with customers
Follow up on meeting efforts and tasks to ensure projects are completed
Organize information from sales team and prioritize daily tasks
Communicate with production when necessary to expedite orders and ensuring timely delivery to customers
Performing data entry and analysis tasks to maintain accurate records
Track all potential sales activities in company quote log spreadsheet and keep current by updating information regularly
Providing general administrative office support as needed
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
Phone and email customer contact for quote follow up.
Review job related information from drawings and BOMs (bill of materials).
Coordinate customer requests with manufacturing's capabilities / capacities.
Requirements :
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Previous experience in sales or customer service roles recommended
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Works well on a team
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines
Must have proficient math skills
Ability to read simple blueprints; experience reviewing BOMs recommended
General aptitude and attitude to learn new concepts.
