Department F&B - CULINARY-100 Job Description Summary : Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition according to established sanitation and service standards. Places tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment. Washes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipment. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Follows sanitation and safety guidelines. Performs all other duties as assigned. Pay Type Hourly Job Description Continued Qualifications : Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. At least six months related experience or training preferred. Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process. Physical and Mental Demands : Regularly required to see, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear for 8 hours. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under noisy and fast paced working conditions Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
