Production Operator- Seasonal DaysThis position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. Essential Functions Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput. Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly. Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Correctly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership. Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations. Abides by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times. Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership. Maintains appropriate level of raw materials as required, to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime. Demonstrates the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoots minor production line issues and performs relief duties when required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand. Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair. The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers / cappers, labelers, case packers, troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, other water filtration equipment and general maintenance of the plant. The Maintenance Technician works directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics and Sr. Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift. The Maintenance Technician proposes solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production equipment to Sr. Mechanics and Management to resolve issues. Essential Functions Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Niagara’s defined processes Maintain industrial control systems Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner May fill in for production operator as needed Create and report repairs throughout shift. Complete required work order paperwork, document parts and material usage Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Supports the organization’s supply chain strategy. Plans, directs, and monitors all activities in the warehouse. Essential Functions Responsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS) Understands the WMS database structure. Performs advanced configuration of the WMS. Serves as site lead for systems implementations and modifications. Oversees activities of warehouse operations including training, shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety. Training of forklift operators, administer road tests and certification. Collaborate with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing. Direct salvage of damaged or unused material. Manage month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories are reconciled timely. Ensure maintenance of clean, orderly and safe warehouse. Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
