Merit Logistics is looking for hardworking Material Handlers to join a Pooler, GA team responsible for unloading containers 1st shift 6AM - 2 : 30PM - Monday to Friday. Overtime is dependent on the volume REQUIREMENTS : Ability to safely lift to 5-50 lbs consistently. Unload trucks by hand. Must be comfortable working in variable temperatures, at times can be hot. Background check required. Ability to work Monday through Saturday (Saturday’s are mandatory depending on volume) General warehouse experience preferred. Performing custodial functions, as necessary, to ensure cleanliness and safety of warehouse and unloading areas. Knowledge of equipment such as Pallet Jacks. Document and report damages and discrepancies to the supervisor. Skills Proven working experience as a warehouse worker Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects Current forklift license High school degree Why You Should Become a Member of the Merit Team : Make more money per hour with productivity incentives.
