The Bartender is responsibility for preparing and serving beverages (and food as applicable) to guests either directly or through serving staff, following all standard operating procedures and recipes.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepare all drinks as ordered to the standards set forth by LDV Hospitality
Adept knowledge of all signature drinks and Wine by the Glass
Use of various stemware and glassware aligned to correct drink as per LDV Hospitality standards
Uses LDV standards of engagement for all service techniques
Describe various food dishes to customers
Serves food to guests, when necessary, that order from the bar
Keeps entire bar area clean and organized
Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling
Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Department of Health (DOH) and appropriate Federa; / State Liquor Control Boards
Performs other related activities as assigned by management
Qualifications
Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures
Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
Must have basic math skills
Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times
Strong customer service background
Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
Working knowledge of drink recipes and preparation
Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in / out at times
Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required
Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality’s standards of service
Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management
Adhere to all HR policies and procedures
Education, Experience, Knowledge Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Bartender in a similar caliber establishment
A high school education is required
Physical / Special Requirements
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Bartender position
Work Environment
Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with that volume
Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress

The Hotel Sous Chef is responsible for helping to prepare and design all food and drink menus, producing high quality plates in both design and taste, and ensuring the hotel kitchen operates in a timely way that meets LDV quality standards for in-room service, banquets, and hotel events.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain and develop recipes set forth by Executive Chef
Create and organize all recipes in a professional manner
Effectively organize tasting for menu changes
Write clear cooking procedures and a photo log of each dish
Ensure consistency of recipe in the restaurant
Manage Food Cost and Labor Cost in keeping with approved budgets
Controlling and lowering Food Cost and Labor Cost
Liaison of LDV towards Clients, Guest and Employees
Track invoices for billing
File monthly DSR Reports
Maintain monthly meetings with staff
Create policy and procedures for all cooks to maintain
Execute Special Event Menus
Participate in charity events for LDV Hospitality, as needed
Maintaining the LDV standards for Service & Quality
Actively participate in weekly F&B Meeting
Update managers on occurrences in Training and Policies
Ensure that impeccable standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the operation

Qualifications :

Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business

Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
Must have considerable skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages

3 - 5 years’ experience in fine dining and high-volume kitchen environments
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Hospitality Administration or the Culinary Arts is preferred, but not required
