Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at one of our facilities. The Production supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department and coordinates with other Production Supervisors.
As part of your role you will be responsible for :
Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department under master production schedule and the hourly work force (including machine operators, i.
e., milling, mixing, canning equipment, etc.) involved in the manufacture of product.
Serving as lead person for a group of hourly employees utilizing established methods, normally to a maximum of 15 employees.
Communicating procedures to all subordinates, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicable.
Interpreting statistical reports, cycle time specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to :
Have 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
Have manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory / managerial experience
Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processes
Have excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills in order to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills
Have prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
Possess strong skills, knowledge, and capability in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have :
SAP Knowledge
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
Proficiency in Spanish, Polish, or sign language
Manufacturing Program Planning and Coordination
UV / TP / OSF (Ink) Manufacturing knowledge
Worked in a production or manufacturing environment
Experience with Inventory Control
Experience with Change Management

Technical Service Representative – Pilot Line (Printing Ink)

Job Description
Salary range : 50K - 60K depending on experience. We are seeking a Pilot Line Representative (Metal Deco Ink) to work with us.
This individual will perform inplant duties under minimal supervision, acting as a liaison between INX, INX’s customers, and our customer’s customers.
This role pilots and proofs the cans that will subsequently be produced on a large scale. As a Pilot Line Representative, you will be responsible for :
Staying updated on the customer’s print job schedule and production needs
Color-matching
Staging work for pilot runs
Performing QC on incoming inks
Troubleshooting all ink-related printing problems
Recordkeeping
Inventory management
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to :
Have a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or 3 to 6 months related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Have experience in a laboratory
Demonstrate exceptional organizational and colormatching skills
Exhibit good computer skills
Pass color vision test
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Effectively communicate with peers and customers
Have excellent written, reading comprehension and basic math skills
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have :
Previous lab, inplant, warehouse, and customer service skills
