Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Rooms team as a Security Officer at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
They will be responsible for patrolling the hotel to ensure proper safety measure are in place,and address any areas or persons that may affect that safety and security.

Qualifications
One to two years’ experience in a security field preferred
Knowledge of emergency and safety procedures
Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in basic computer skills

The goal of the Executive Sous Chef is to work directly with and in the absence of the Executive Chef to maintain and improve the culinary operations.
The ideal Executive Sous Chef will accomplish this by monitoring the daily functions of the culinary department, including banquets and special events, as well as providing support and guidance to the culinary team, ending in a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities include :
Support senior leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities
Assume the role of liaison between all departments within the culinary division and all other hotel departments
Plan, coordinate & implement banquets, special events and holiday functions
Supervise departmental Sous Chefs performance and provide them council as to the preparation and cooking of various food items
Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards
Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis ensuring financial performance and control
Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, training and goals setting

Qualifications
4 years or more of progressive hotel culinary management experience in a Big Box Hotel (both outlets and banquets)
Experience in large scale banquet execution
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations
Degree from an Accredited University
Hotel / Hospitality degree an asset
Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
Experience with training, financial management, and customer service
Experience in menu creation, inventory, and ordering
Proficient in general computer knowledge
A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
