We are currently seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for part-time and full-time schedules working with students in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Most zip codes!) These are in-person, community-based positions providing academic and behavioral supports to students that attend cyber school.
Schedules and locations will vary between students but you have the flexibility to choose which cases work best for you.
These positions would start immediately and continue during the 2023-2024 school year. Eligible candidates must have up-to-date PA clearances and reliable transportation.

based decision making.
Communicate with the teacher / family regarding student progress / behavior / special needs
Participate in planning meetings regarding communication, academic, vocational, and behavior needs of students and contribute to the development of goals and strategies in these areas
Help students follow individual daily schedules
Assists students for the purpose of attending to the student’s personal hygiene and care needs

We are urgently seeking an Occupational Therapist for a flexible, part-time position working with school students throughout the Delaware County area.
This is a school-based position that starts immediately and continues through the end of the school year. The schedules can be flexible, Monday-Friday, during school hours or during the evening between 4pm and 6pm.
Eligible candidates must be a certified Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania and have up-to-date clearances.

Responsibilities :
Deliver ongoing collaboration, guidance, and coaching support to regional Individual Education Planning (IEP) teams in accordance with Early Intervention regulations, Chapter 14 and IDEA
Employ the use of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, best practices, current research, and apply these principles in the least restrictive environment within the context of Preschool Early Intervention
Provide assessment of eligibility including providing re-evaluation when necessary and plan appropriately for discharge of children
Conduct ongoing training, modules, and programs for early intervention staff
Serve as a consultant regarding the adaptation of physical environments for children with disabilities and the need for adaptive devices or services that will support the child in achieving the highest level of functioning
Work collaboratively with ELS staff and contracted service providers to ensure adequate coverage, high quality service delivery, and the titration of services as appropriate for the child to gain skills and achieve independence
Provide periodic case coverage of direct occupational therapy services as recommended in each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) within the context of the natural environment which includes covering initial services, service gaps, and / or children with a high degree of need.
Participate in IEP meetings, provide service recommendations, present levels of performance, and goals / outcomes
Conduct Evaluation and IEP reviews to ensure that goals, strategies, and adaptations are appropriate and individualized to the child’s specific needs
Participate in team / staff meetings designed to support the overall function of the program and region
Participate in professional development opportunities
Participate in supervision, feedback, mentoring, and self-reflection to support therapeutic excellence

Responsibilities :

Designing and implementing physical therapy interventions that allow students to benefit from their educational program.
Measuring and documenting student progress resulting from the designed physical therapy interventions.
Teaching and training family members and educational personnel in an effort to help the student achieve his or her IEP goals.
Forming partnerships and working with other team members in the school setting to promote an effective physical therapy plan of care.
Coordinating physical therapy interventions within the student’s educational program.
Adapting environments to facilitate student access and participation in the educational program.
Educating school personnel and families to promote inclusion of students within the educational setting by developing, demonstrating, training, and monitoring the effectiveness of strategies and intervention activities, and subsequently using gathered data to make program modification decisions.
This includes the use of assistive technology for access and participation in the general education curriculum.
