(But be ready to work hard) Responsibilities Receive incoming merchandise and verify that they are undamaged and of sound quality. Weigh and count received items. Assist warehouse coordinator in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders. Prepare merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling them accordingly. Move all outgoing merchandise to the delivery area. Ensure that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise. Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed. Organize warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines. Perform all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed. Who you are Highly professional, diligent, and dependable Able to build effective working relationships across the business and incredibly efficient with your time Have a valid driver's license w / a clean motor vehicle record. Able to pass a comprehensive background check. Own a modern smartphone. Physically able to move up and down, including bending and lifting frequently (up to 75 lbs required) Experience 1-3 years of experience with inventory management and administrative duties Excellent communication, with tools such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other industry software Construction / home improvement experience is a highly desired Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage Bonuses based on performance
