Position Summary :
The Technology Division has an opening for a Data Analyst. We are currently in the process of introducing more automated and scalable solutions in order to realize new efficiencies and create a better competitive edge.
As a Data Analyst you will work supporting the Business Services’ request for report and data extract using MS-SQL. As well as assist with creating and maintaining automated processes.
You will work for an exciting and fun company with an opportunity for professional growth. We are looking for team players, but also for individuals accountable to finishing out their tasks without constant supervision.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Establish and maintain automated client data processes
Create reports for internal teams and / or external clients
Automate existing query and report generation tasks
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Assist in projects as needed to provide data sources and services
Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
Establish and maintain data integrity best practices company-wide
Position Requirements :
At least 2+ years demonstrated experience designing and deploying SQL based solutions
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server versions 2008R2 / 2012 / 2014 / 2016
Strong relational database development and design skills
Excellent command of T-SQL and joining of complex data sets
Ability to design, develop, and document complex technical solutions related to data management
Knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) frameworks
Experience reviewing query performance and optimizing stored procedures
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once and ensure actionable outcomes
Strong attention to detail and self-management skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience a major plus
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience a plus, but not required
Must be highly self-motivated, ambitious, flexible, and high-energy
Ability to work well in a team, debate ideas and make the case for well thought out opinions while listening and appreciating the opinions of peers
