Purpose of Your Job Position : Wheelchair Van Driver The primary purpose of your position is to safely transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities, keep the Facility’s vehicle working properly and in clean condition, and any other responsibilities as may be directed by your Supervisor. Job Function : Wheelchair Van Driver Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. Miscellaneous Drive Facility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary. Transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities according to established schedules and allotted times. Assist residents entering and exiting the Facility’s vehicle. Maintain an incident and accident free driving record. Working Conditions Works outside the Facility as well as throughout the Facility. Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies and personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs. Education Ideally possess a CNA license Experience Two (2) years experience operating a Company vehicle required. Specific Requirements Must have a clean driving record. CDL Preferred. Hours We operate Monday thru Saturday with hours ranging from 5am-6pm, these hours are subject to change. This is a part time position with a Saturday rotation.
