Cyntox - Route Driver Primary responsibilities and requirements include : Delivery of supplies and retrieval of prepackaged medical waste boxes from / to assigned customers in a timely manner. Be able to navigate Google Chrome on a smart phone platform to utilize our manifest program. Transporting containers to a transfer location. Off-loading into a transfer trailer or transfer station in an organized fashion, utilizing space efficiently. Driving trucks with automatic transmissions and lift gates with 24 hr. roadside service. Communication : communicate with Dispatch and Route Supervisor daily. Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service. Be a team player. May require one or two overnights per week. Company paid hotel stay and per diem on overnight days. Education and Experience : Valid driver license. Clean driving record. Current Medical Examiners Certification (MEC);or must be capable of passing and obtaining MEC. Experience driving van or light straight truck. Navigate with a GPS (Global Positioning System). Must be able to use a company provided smart phone with applications to complete daily route. Professional presence in front of customers. Must be able to lift containers of 50 lbs. repeatedly.
