Join the hospitality team of one of Cleveland's favorite restaurants! Butcher And The Brewer is currently seeking hospitality professionals. We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a high-energy environment, and are passionate about the craft of food, drink, service and hospitality. Responsibilities Daily cleaning duties and completion of all sidework, before, during, and after the shift Preparing cocktails and pouring wine and beer for bar guests and service bar orders Promptly greeting all guests and communicating our service model / ordering process upon initial seating Answering questions about the ordering system and offering technical assistance Ensuring guests are able to place orders, or whenever necessary, placing orders and processing credit card payment manually for guests Providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items Checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction of all food and beverage items Communicating all guest satisfaction issues to management Providing responsible alcohol service, and communicating to the manager on duty whenever a guest is suspected to be intoxicated Staying active and attentive to all guest’s needs at all times Expectations & Requirements The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanor Using good communication skills Demonstrating a solid knowledge of all food and beverage items Fluently and efficiently navigating the restaurant’s point of sale system Coming to work on time, and with a positive attitude every shift Following all policies and procedures as communicated by management. Attend all scheduled employee meetings Adherence to all sanitation and food handling guidelines
