Job Description :
COTA is seeking an experienced PR & Communications Manager to assist the Director of Public Relations in media relations and communications strategy.
It is encouraged applicants have at least 4 years of experience developing public relations and communications materials, as well as at least 2 years of strategic communications experience, hosting media fam tours, pitching to media, and creative content strategy in the sports and entertainment indusrty.
Additionally, applicants should have some leadership experience and thrive in a collaborative and creative atmosphere.
Responsibilities :
Media relations, including outreach, pitching, on-site handling, and credentialling.
PR and communications strategy development for more targeted and COTA-owned projects, such as Peppermint Parkway, COTA Karting, Cars & Coffee, and Bike Night.
Identify and create story angles as part of larger public relations strategy
Content development for high-level interviews.
Assisting with crisis communications strategy.
Developing an annual media event and owning the strategy and production.
Influencer / celebrity / VIP relations including outreach, credentialling and ticketing.
Help delegate to coordinators and interns.
Candidate Background and Abilities :
Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or journalism
Excellent understanding of public relations field and sports / entertainment industry
Excellent writing and editing skills : attention to detail and brand voice
Ability to collaborate with team and lead projects with multiple team members in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker with strong project management skills willing to learn something new every day
Highly professional demeanor, able to work successfully with a wide variety of constituents including sponsors, vendors, media, volunteers and professional consultants
Preferred Experience :
Master's degree in public relations, communications, or related field
Experience working with high-profile entertainment clients and / or the music industry

Support content creation, working closely with the Director of Content & Social Media and Marketing team
Stay up to date on industry trends, prominent cultural conversations, new features / platforms and best practices
Capture content with professional equipment
Edit and package content
Daily management of social channels and community management
Measure, analyze and report on all social media activity on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis
Keep organization's content management system up to date with organic social content plans and released assets for publishing
Curate user-generated content and devise strategies
Requirements :
1-2 years of relevant experience in social media at a corporation or agency
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Basic understanding of social media channels, specifications best practices, including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, and LinkedIn.
First-hand community management experience

Receptionist/Call Center Representative

The Receptionist is the front-facing representative at COTA, greeting visitors and guests from around the world, as well as being the Call Center Representative to resolve the matters of customers.
This position should project the Circuit of The Americas image through in-person & telephone interaction with our customers.
The goal is to deliver information in answer to general inquiries, orders, customer concerns and complaints, while offering suitable proper solutions by different trouble-shooting techniques.
This is a non-exempt position.
Essential Functions :
Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
Handles inbound and outbound calls from internal and external customers perfectly to resolve the issues and matter
Handles incoming requests from external customers by email or fax and provide them information on complaints regarding specific products or services
Retrieves messages from voicemail & email and forwards to appropriate personnel
Scan, fax, photocopy materials
Anticipate, prepare, and distribute mail and packages appropriately
Order supplies
Maintain employee phone list
Manage conference rooms
Manage and maintain tidiness in the reception area
Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required
Performs all other duties, as assigned

Seeking a creative and self-motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator. As an important member of our team, you'll work side-by-side with our marketing, sales, event, and sponsorship teams to assist in the launching of omnichannel marketing campaigns across all paid, owned, and earned channels.
Essential Functions :
Assist in planning and coordination of key assets for all COTA event marketing plans
Draft, build, and create email marketing campaigns in Ticketmaster Engagement
Manage, segment, and clean the email marketing database to ensure all subscribers are current
Coordinate the delivery of key marketing assets to vendors, partners, and media channels
Manage, catalog, and document photos and multimedia assets on the COTA server
Assist in uploading web assets into CMS and prepare the COTA site for campaign launches
Continuously update and maintain key digital channels with relevant event information including, but not limited to, the chatbot, interactive map, and COTA app
Own, track, and coordinate the marketing comp ticket trade program with media vendors
Report weekly marketing analytics for key department and company stakeholders
Own the internal purchasing approval process and ensure documentation is submitted on time
Requirements / Qualifications :
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, advertising, or similar field
1+ years of experience in social media / digital marketing
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
Ability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced event environment
Attention to detail and deadline oriented
Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of PPT and Keynote
Some weekend work, holidays, and non-traditional hours required
