Job Summary We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. Job Duties job duties consist of working the entrance gate to a 55 and older community. Guard are responsible for verifying access into the community by checking guest into computer, or calling a resident to approve access. Looking for an outgoing person with good communication skills. Job Hours Available hours are from 2pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday 6am - 2pm Wednesdays We are wiling to Split shifts into 4 hours blocks if needed Responsibilities Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility Monitor surveillance cameras Report on daily activities and any security incidents Qualifications High school diploma / GED must be 18 years of age and be able to qualify for an Illinois PERC card Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability Ability to operate surveillance equipment High level of integrity and professionalism Attention to detail and strong observational skills Ability to work without direct supervision
