General Summary : Communicate with and assist food servers in maintaining service efficiency and ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and restock the front-of-the-house area. Serve water and provide refills as needed. Remove dirty dishes and utensils for the next course and clean and reset vacated tables. Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and utensils to the dishwashing area. May assist wait staff in serving tables with hot beverages such as coffee or tea. Duties and Responsibilities : Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows and restrooms Must wear slip resistant shoes. Restock dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen and maintain adequate supplies in the workstations. Prepare beverages required for service, including coffee, iced tea, and hot water Clean / set tables after guest leave Assist food servers with drinks and refills Pre-bus tables Stock : napkins, and silverware Meet and greet guests (internal and external) with a smile. General Summary : Graciously greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their table, provide menus to them once seated, and inform guests of the name of their assigned server.
