Alaris Health at Belgrov, a 120 bed-skilled nursing Center in Kearny, New Jersey, seeks a cook who is responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods for residents, employees and visitors. Additional responsibilities include : diligently following menus and special diet instructions as prescribed by the attending physician preparing food according to recipes, therapeutic diets and cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedules ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights. JOB REQUIREMENTS : Ability to read, write, speak and follow written and verbal directions in the English language High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Experience in institutional food handling is preferred

Alaris Health at Belgrove - Alaris Health at Belgrov, a 120 bed-skilled nursing Center in Kearny, New Jersey, seeks a housekeeping aide to ensure that the Center is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to provide for care and welfare of the residents in a healthful environment. Additional responsibilities include : following specific cleaning and service instructions and procedures in a safe manner completing all assignments scheduled in each unit and giving each unit the attention required to provide a sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment checking stock and notifying supervisor of supply needs maintaining equipment in good working condition and returning it to proper location after use and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights JOB REQUIREMENTS : High school degree or equivalent is preferred Ability to perform essential job functions Must be able to read, write and understand the English language and follow oral and written instructions Possess working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in cleaning activities Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
