Department : Maintenance Employment Type : Permanent - Full Time Location : Riverbank, CA Reporting To : Facilities and Maintenance Manager Compensation : $16.00 - $20.00 / hour Description Who We Are Aeriz is searching for a full-time Security Guard - for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. Position Overview : The Security Guard will oversee facility security to protect all company assets 365 / 24 / 7 The Security Guard may also manage and / or implement security protocols related to the storage of confidential information and documents. This role will report directly to the Building and Facilities Manager and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank. Responsibilities Oversees the daily workflow and schedules. Ensures compliance for drug and alcohol procedures, and related safety and security topics. Display exceptional customer service and communication skills. Provides and / or implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems. Patrols and monitors the facilities interior and property; reports suspicious activities to the Building and Facilities Manager and local authorities. Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property and monitors suspicious activity. Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency. Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for all staff and visitors. Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records. Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities. Serves as a liaison to agencies concerning project security. Conduct inspections and security procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to Five years of related security experience required. Must be open to working overtime as needed, including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow security policies and procedures. Ability to work with confidential and classified information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
