Ritz Carlton NYC Nomad to
bring the award-winning concept, The Bazaar, to New York City. We are looking for the areas most talented
hospitality professionals to help us as we continue our mission to Change
the World Through the Power of Food!
The Bazaar by José Andrés
consistently wows its guests with ingeniously innovative cuisine, thoughtfully
created cocktails, theatrical presentations, and attentive yet unfussy service.
The Bazaar takes you on a wild sensory adventure born of José Andres’ Spanish
roots, both traditional and avant-garde, in a bold, playful atmosphere where
anything is possible.
What we would like from you:
- Exceed
guests’ expectations by providing an authentic, friendly,
enthusiastic, professional culinary experience paired with
impeccable service and a genuine sense of hospitality.
- Maintain
and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system,
customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house
teammates.
- Precisely
prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails.
- A passion for
continuous learning and discovery by embracing an active and innovative
approach to expanding your knowledge of food and beverage.
- Ability
to articulate an appealing description of every item we offer. Explain how
various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking
methods
- Participates
in cocktail R&D with the team including Head Bartender and Beverage
Leaders throughout the property and group.

Abilities & Working Conditions
- Must
be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
- Must
be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- May
be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.

- Maintain
an organized, clean workspace throughout a shift and help setup for the
following day/shift
- Ability to maneuver throughout the dining/bar
area while carrying trays of food & beverages
- Confidently
communicate with guests and employees.
- Requires
manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Will
work some nights, holidays and weekends.
