Duties
Duties include leading 2 tutorial sessions for 7 weeks, grading assignments, tests and final exams, holding office hours, and general assistance.
Minimum Qualifications
University of Toronto graduate students who have completed one year of graduate study and who are social science/humanistic social science grad students with an interdisciplinary background in environmental studies, communication, sociology, political science, cultural studies, or a related field of study. Course Description: This course examines the impacts of the internet on environmental thinking and policy-making. Topics include the use of social media as a tool for community-building and collaborative design, the sharing economy, online protest movements, mass surveillance and its implications, and the impact of misinformation on climate denialism.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience preferred.
Relevant Criterion
Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
